Other massages that you may be offered include South Seas massage techniques which incorporate many of the Thai systems, but which use a dry powder rather than oils in order to create an entirely different sensation.

The key to enjoying a good massage is the expertise of the masseur, and most day spa employees will be experts in a particular field that whey will concentrate on. It is important to enjoy your surroundings during the massage, and to let yourself float free. A little pain is not unusual at the beginning of the session, and is normally something that finishes very quickly as soon as the initial tension that you have wears off.
